To Register

You can register in two ways:

Electronically

To register electronically, simply complete the on-line registration form. The on-line registration site works with Internet Explorer and Netscape V6.0 or above. If you encounter problems registering online, please contact Mandy Mann at Registration Systems Lab by phone +1 (407) 971-4451 or .

Via Mail or Fax

Simply download or print the Adobe Acrobat PDF file containing the registration form.

Submit the completed form after filling out the form completely and specifying the payment method and any applicable credit card information.

Mail or fax the form and any payment papers, (for example, a check or money order.)

Credit Cards. This on-line registration system is based on the use of credit cards for payment. Purchase orders are not accepted. If you need to pay by check, or if you are unwilling to provide credit card information through the Internet, then please print out our PDF Registration Form and fax or mail it with payment to the address above.

Membership. It is easy to apply, and the benefits include the fellowship and recognition from being associated with one of the largest engineering societies in the world. New members can indicate their preference for PVP membership by indicating "number 28" on the application form. ASME members and student members, and members from select countries can receive a discount to the conference registration.

You can apply for ASME membership by registering online: Member/Student Application, or by downloading and mailing the membership application or student application. Alternatively, you can call: 1-800-THE-ASME (800-843-2763) or outside North America +1 (973) 882-1167 and ASME will mail you an application, or you can e-mail to infocentral@asme.org and request an application.

Registration Policies:

Full Registration Fee includes a CD-ROM of Conference Proceedings (all published papers) and one ticket for the Honors Luncheon.

One-day Registration Fee includes a CD-ROM of Conference Proceedings and admission to technical sessions for one day only.

^*Life Member/Retired Member Fees do not include a coupon for the Conference Proceedings or a ticket for the Honors Luncheon.

^**Student Member or Student Non-Member Fees include a coupon for the Conference Proceedings and a ticket for the Honors Luncheon.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing and faxed or postmarked by July 20th, 2009. Please note all cancellations will be subject to a €100 processing fee. Refunds will be made within four weeks of the end of the conference. Cancellations will not be accepted after July 20th, 2009. "No shows" are not refundable and are liable for the full registration fee. Instead of cancelling, your registration may be transferred by giving a colleague a written authorization.
