To qualify for reduced rates, registration forms must be sent by Thursday, 13 September 2007– that is, sent online, faxed, or postmarked by that date. The last date to advance register by fax, mail, or online is Wednesday 17 October 2007.

What Your
Registration Includes

OOPSLA registration includes admission into OOPSLA Technical Sessions (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday), one-day APL on Tuesday, Mini-PLoP, DLS, OOPSLA Welcome Reception, one Special Event ticket, and OOPSLA CD Proceedings.

ALL ACCESS PASS includes OOPSLA conference, WikiSym, APL, unlimited tutorials, and lunch every day. AAP holders may pre-register for up to six specific tutorial units and will receive tutorial notes for these, and may attend any tutorial on a walk-in, space available basis. (Printed notes may not be available for walk-in attendees.)

Tutorial registration includes admission into the selected Tutorial, one copy of the Tutorial Notes for that session, and Lunch for the day of the selected Tutorial. You do not have to register for the conference in order to attend Tutorials. However, tutorial participants who wish to attend other OOPSLA offerings must register for the conference.

Educators' Symposium fee includes admission into the Symposium, the Educators' Symposium notes, and Lunch on the day of the Symposium.

Workshop participants must be accepted into the workshop and register for the OOPSLA conference or a one-day OOPSLA conference on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

APL registration includes admission into APL Technical Sessions (Monday & Tuesday), One-day OOPSLA on Tuesday, a banquet on Sunday evening, and APL Opening Reception on Monday.

Panelists, Session Chairs, and Speakers must register and pay for the OOPSLA conference.

Student conference registration includes admission into Technical Sessions, Tutorials, Welcome Reception, and the CD Proceedings. Student fees do not include the Special Event ticket.

Tutorial Registration for Students. Students may attend tutorials of their choice free of charge, and tutorial notes will be available for sale in the registration area. Seating availability will be determined first-come first-served outside the tutorial rooms, ten minutes before the start of each tutorial. Please note that seating priority will be reserved to confirmed Student Volunteers, and that tutorial lunches are not included in the student fees.

Students wishing to guarantee seating in tutorials may purchase seats at the regular rates published for ACM members and non-members.

DesignFest® participants must provide their email addresses so they may be contacted for scheduling.

Confirmations

Confirmations will be sent by email or mail. Please allow up to two weeks for mailed confirmation of your registration. We cannot fax confirmations.

Sell-Out Policy. All registration will be processed first-come, first-served, based on date of receipt. On-site registration will be accepted subject to the availability of space and materials. OOPSLA reserves the right to limit Conference, tutorials, Workshops, Educators' Symposium, Designfest® and Special Event registrations.

Member Fees apply to ACM, SIGPLAN, or SIGSOFT members.

Students must submit a letter from the student's department confirming academic status as a full-time student at the time of registration.

Privacy. At OOPSLA 2007 we will have a photographer, a film maker, and an artist capturing images, sound, and impressions of the conference for future promotions of the conference and possibly for educational purposes. Under no circumstances will the material be used for commercial purposes. If you do not want your image (including things you say in public) to be captured, please indicate so on the Registration Form, and we will provide a special badge that identifies you.

Payment Information. Payment in U. S. dollars may be made by personal or company check, money order or credit card.

  • Mailed checks must be payable to OOPSLA 2007.
  • Faxed and online registrations must be paid by credit card.
  • Purchase orders, government vouchers, wire transfers, telephone or e-mail registrations will not be accepted.
  • International payment must be by credit card, International Money Order, or drafts drawn against a U. S. bank.

Cancellations, Refunds and Transfers

Cancellations made in writing and faxed or postmarked by 11 October 2007 will be accepted subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Refunds will be made within four weeks of the end of the conference. Cancellations will not be accepted after 11 October 2007. "No-shows" are not refundable and are liable for the full registration fee. Instead of canceling, your registration may be transferred by giving a colleague a written authorization.

Conference materials such as Proceedings and Tutorial Notes which are not picked up at the conference will not be shipped to the registrant after the conference.
